I found this while digging through some things - its a little piece the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette did on Piano Story during filming. This was a coldest shoot by far - 14 degrees…inside! The building was in between ownership and had turned off the heat.

Tonight’s “Film Kitchen” Postponed
Tonights Film Kitchen featuring Piano Story, has been postponed until next Tuesday, February 16th due to Snow Storm: Part 2! If you’re reading this, live in the Pittsburgh area, and like movies, I hope you can make it out next Tuesday!

Piano Story is a short film set in 1960 about a young piano player who finds the girl of his dreams, leaving his piano and neighborhood behind.
Both beautiful music and striking images help to tell the story of the young piano player in this mostly silent film.
Shot entirely in the city of Pittsburgh, Piano Story was Produced by Andrew Batista, in conjunction with New Perspective Productions and their Filmmaker in Residence Program.
